Elephant Rides Bandhavgarh

Bandhavgarh is home to tame elephants used for park activities like tourism, patrolling and doing small irrands for the tiger reserve. There are no wild elephants in the preserve.

Tiger Show

Park elephants leave at pre dawn along with their riders (Mahout) to track the park tigers. If they succeed the bigcat is then cordoned by the trained pachyderms.

Visitors are then escorted on elephant back to the spot where the tiger is. This is a to and fro ride from the safari jeep and is charged.

Long Rides

Long Rides on elephant back are available in the park for a charge. These are subject to availability but a best way to explore the inner recess of the tiger reserve.
